Construction This furnace consists of a furnace cover, a furnace body, an elevating mechanism, a vacuum system and an electric control cabinet. Furnace cover: it is opened and manually on the base of cam principle. There is an observation window on it for observing the work condition in the furnace. Furnace body: the lining inside the furnace body is made of foaming bricks. The heating elements are installed on small hooks on the inside wall of the lining. There are two thermocouples leading through the side wall of the furnace body, one is in the middle of the lining, another one is in the above part of the lining , in order to measure the temperature in different parts in the furnace accurately. Lifting mechanism: the cooler which is used to surround charge basket is normally mounted on the refractory material rack of the lifting mechanism. When the works need to be cooled, the cooler is raided to the proper position through a pair of taper gear and a lead screw operated by a manual handle. During heating, the cooler is below the lining of the furnace and it is not effected by the heating.
